Good Afternoon Mens Club,

Just a few notes as we head into the close of yet another month, and start preparing your game for the upcoming Club Championship starting on August 18th and finishing up on the 25th with awards and skins payouts after our General Membership meeting on the 25th after Golf and a Nice Barbecue meal that will be added to the entry fee. So please plan on Making it a day. I will promise and try to make the meeting as short as possible.

For those of you who were not at last weeks play, I called for a quick discussion with the membership after golf and discussed playing from the proper tees to make the game as much fun as possible when you show up to play. We made a temporary Vote for the next few weeks that players with an index of 16.7 and below will be playing from the blue tees and those with a 16.8 and higher will be playing the White tees. So in about 2-3 weeks I will ask how everyone is doing and whether you like the tees or not.

Now with that being said. As we head into our Club Championship. Those that are competing for the low gross and net championship with indexes of 16.7 and below (18 hdc) - will be playing a Combo tees setup with the 9 easiest holes from the Gold Tees and the next 9 holes from the Blue Tees. The second group will also have a Gross Champion and Net winners from the White Tees.

With that being said I will try out Flighted Skins this Wednesday with the same setup - 16.7 and below will have a Gross and Net - And those playing the White Tees 16.8 and above will also have a Gross and Net Pot. As well as the Par three Contest in Both. If this becomes too much work for me in getting it done quickly then I may have to give it up. Instead of doing 2 now I am doing 4.

The Heat is On !! Fellas please bring lots of water when you come to play the rest of the way through the Summer. It has already taken its Toll on 3 of our Players. Cory had to pull out last Wed. And Fitzsimmons had to pull out at Soboba in Team Play ( 106) degrees. And now Jim Dent had chest Pains and had a Triple Heart Bypass. He should now be Home and we all wish him a very Fast Recovery.

Well our Team Play is really on a roll now as we have made a comeback from 2 straight losses at the beginning to winning the last 3 matches - Coming Up next We play at Canyon Lake ! Stand By to play if Bruce Gives you a call to step up to the plate.

Next line of business is AGAIN ! Members please remember to post your Rounds, This includes Team play. My tolerance to not posting is getting very thin. We have talked about this till we are blue in the face. Penalty Rounds will be assessed from this point forward. And if it continues further actions will be taken, and I, nor John should have to be put in that position to start with. So please comply with the rules.

My last bit of information is our 2nd annual Margarita Cup challenge against our Rival Redhawk opponents who Won by sheer Luck last year over our superior playing. This year we will bring home the Cup to it Rightful Owner of masterful Team Play Experts. They just had beginners Luck - Just like in Poker. Bruce is putting together the Teams and May need Alternates, so let him know if you are available. The 1st match is Next Thursday at Temeku and the Following week the 5th is at Redhawk. Let's getter Done Guys..!
